  I got the best results I've ever had from any gym here at Butin Bik Combat Sports & Fitness Gym. Great instructors for children. Very knowledgeable in martial arts. Love this place and the people.

  I found this place on line; I decided to sign my kids up. I paid one month and last month $400. I had my children in this gym for two days and in those two days I learned that they all are about money. Their class starts at 5:00pm, the kids line up by sitting down, and for twenty minuets they listen to a child teach them about the body anatomy. The child calls on a select few to answer correctly, what is this bones name? If he/she gets it wrong they do five pushups, the other kids who are not called stay sitting, and that's it. Next, they are still sitting while they learn the move that is being taught by an instructor for about ten minuets, and then they practice that move for fifteen minuets. If child looks away while the instructor is teaching that child, he/she must do 200 burpees. Last, they all sit again and wait to be called by name as the instructor publicly announces that child's grades from he/she's eduactional school. If that child's grades are unsatisfactory then the instructor will publicly shame that child into doing better. When I asked why they do this the answer I was given is that their mistakes are out in the open to make them feel guilty and horrible inside so that they would want to do better. She continued to say that parents need someone els to help get their child to clean their room or do better in school. I also asked when will my child be given more excersises, because my children were not tired at all after going to this gym. They were asking me why are we sitting for most of the class? They wanted to roll, jump, run, and do whatever excersises they could. I have had my children in another MMA before for two months and they were always excerising. Andy (AKA the instructors wife) answered very defensively, when we give you more we expect more and we do not want an embarrassment at a higher level. Everything must be earned GI' S, head gear, pads, and boxing gloves. That shows right there they are not about teaching your child, that they are about making their class take longer for your child to learn or do anything. Why do they not want your children to wear gloves not to use if they aren't ready, but to get use to them and use them as weight as they work out. They don't work out. No basically after your child goes to school during the day, then they go to school for an hour here to get humiliated and to sit. They are only being taught a MMA move for a total of 25 minutes. If you have a horrible out of control child by all means sign them up here. But if your child is all ready respectable and sweet don't, you are punishing them by signing them up to this school NOT GYM. They will not burn off any extra energy they have at this MMA facility at all by sitting down and staring straight at the instructor. I decided to take my children out after two days of waisted time. I asked for refund I expected that they would keep the first month and return the last month. He said yes and then I saw him ten days later at the grocery store he came up and told us he returned the money. I told him thank you. I've waited for a month and half now he has not refunded my $200. I called he says I don't know what happened ill check call you back. He has not. I'm still waiting.
